Gestures of Care investigates the small, everyday actions that constitute love and healing within Black families and communities. Through fragmented imagery and layered textures, the series maps intimacy not as grand gesture but as accumulated tenderness—the daily practices of seeing, holding, and affirming one another. These works function as visual proposals for what repair might look like when enacted through consistent, intentional care rather than dramatic revelation.
